Using Census Bureau regions for the United States, these shapes divide the country into the East, Midwest, South, and West.

U.S. ZIP codes based on the first three (or sometimes four) digits
Core-Based Statistical Areas (CBSAs)
U.S. geographic areas defined by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) that consists of one or more counties (or equivalents) anchored by an urban center of at least 10,000 people
